Foster Hope
Foster Hope extends the mission of Christ Child by providing the most abused and neglected children entering the foster system with a duffel bag packed with all new clothing, pajamas, athletic shoes, coat, hat, gloves, gently used clothing, age appropriate toiletries and comfort items, such as a fleece blanket and stuffed animal. Foster Hope operates year round serving children ages 0 to 17. We have partnered with three foster agencies, National Youth Advocate Program, SAFY (Safe Alternatives for Families and Youth), and Benchmark, as well as the Center for the Homeless, Youth Service Bureau, and Department of Child Services, who provide Christ Child with the information needed in order to give these children basic necessities. The Foster Hope program expects to serve 280 foster children annually.
